I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

The story of an abduction or two. Involves a monster, a con artist, a master manipulator, naive parents, and a little girl. If this were fiction I'd have called it far fetched, but this is all too real. It's disturbing, shocking, maddening, and somehow strangely close to physically painful to watch. A well made film, the story moves quickly, there's no filler by any means.

Easy

How gullible can people be? How trustworthy can they be? And what if someone takes that trust and turns it against them? Well then you get a case like the one depicted here. You may get a neck injury from the headshaking and disbelief you will find yourself in. But apparently this really happened ... and it's really far out there if you think about it.

The people who are being interviewed are at least refreshingly honest. If you can stomach the really despicable things that happened, you will be in awe about how this all could happen ... well in plain sight! There's a reason it is in the title of this documentary. Human nature ... unpredictable, lacking moral compass at times, being taken advantage of and so many more things that can be seen here ...

Honestly how is this real

It's pretty incredible how this story unfolds and the cool ease with which everyone discusses the horrors of their child being abducted; not just once, but twice. The parents are so selfish, that they wait a week to report her missing the first time, and two weeks the second!!! Has sex with their daughters kidnapper? Let's him sleep with her alone? Talks about a 40 year old man marrying a 12 year old like it's just today's news? These people are infuriatingly ineffective.

Good documentary though. Just messed up people.
