A really poor indie masquerading as an action thriller. There are a few lacklustre martial art fight scenes and that's it. Dolph Lundgren plays a morally ambiguous character but only has very limited screen time while most of the action is given over to poor and lesser known stars, as with many recent Bruce Willis movies. A few faces show up in support but are nothing to write home about. It's a real dog's dinner of a movie.

Vladik Zorich (Dolph Lundgren),crime lord whose tentacles permeate the underbelly of a seedy Los Angeles as he deals in guns, gambling, drugs and skin trafficking, finds himself double-crossed by his most trusted operative Rhona Zyocki (Natalie Burn). Vladik's propensity for power, control, and violence drives him to kidnap Rhona's young son, forcing Rhona to participate in a planned elimination of Vladik's enemies and identities. As her son's life hangs in the balance, Rhona struggles to find and kill Vladik's most violent and twisted foes and regain valuable goods and information, all in one fateful night. To keep her on a short leash, Vladik sets out the 'rules' to his 'game' and overseas Rhona's every move as she navigates the darkened streets of Los Angeles. However, Vladik underestimates the power of a mother's love, and finds himself losing control as his devious plan slowly unravels.

The easy way is best
Vladik (Dolph Lundgren) kidnaps the son of Rhona (Natalie Burn) and coerces her into performing various tasks driving around LA all night.
We don't any real back story until the end and even then it wasn't much of a story. Action characters like Lundgren and Trejo sit for most of the film and do nothing. Boring. Bad script.

Another worst action film! The action in the film quite messy and not intense! Very disappointed!
This film start with a man "Vladik" fighting with a bald guy, and flashback of a woman "Rhona" need to help Vladik to run some illegal errand in order to save her missing son "Mika" scene! As turnout, the actual person who kidnap Mika is another criminal "Kane", Vladik is Mika's father! Vladik just want to cheat Rhona to do a job for him! All the action in the film quite messy and not intense! Such as, the shooting scene just saw the spark and the sound never saw the bullet! The martial art fighting scene also quite messy! One explosion scene, just show us the detonator, never show the explosion scene! Super bored! Barely intense scene is at the ending of the film! Have some bloody shooting at the body scene, and bullet hole on the wall scene! At the end, Vladik and Kane both dead! Rhona save her son! That's it! Another disappointed action film!
