Directed, written, scored and starring Emanuele De Santi - I imagine he also made sandwiches for everyone - this movie is billed as the most bloody movie ever and lives up to that in buckets and buckets of non-stop plasma.
Heaven's Valley is controlled by a mob boss named Denny Richards, who has killed our hero Adam's wife. So Adam does what any of us would do in a place where the cops are the criminals and he has no power. He gives himself over to a demon and starts punching gigantic bloody holes inside people that spray gore all over the camera.
There's a sequel - here's a page about it - from Hotel Inferno (and uncredited co-director and co-writer) Giulio De Santi and Hotel Inferno 2: The Cathedral of Pain director Tiziana Machella in production.
Basically, imagine if The Crow had a few drinks with Riki-Oh and they decided that a movie that's a non-stop fight scene punctuated with upside down crosses was a good idea. Well, let me tell you, it's a great idea. Sure, there's no story, but when has that ever stopped us before?

Bloody, bloody and more bloody violence
Blood soaked technical incompetence
Adam Chaplin is an Italian horror film whereby the protagonist seeks revenge on those who killed his wife, aided and abetted by a demon who kind of lurks just behind him.
Those who have reviewed this to date seem to love it based, it appears, on the vast amount of blood and violence it contains.
I thought it was awful. Visually unappealing, technically poor, with a demon comprising a woefully unexpressive headmask. Dire special effects, ropey acting.
But, yes, lakes of blood. Lakes and lakes of it.
This is rubbish. Don't waste your time.
a bit too long but delivers on extreme gore
When this came out it went immediately into the world of must see extreme gore flick. But the problem was released in Italian language it had to be translated. So far you will only find it common at conventions in it's original language or with German subs. And prices go high for this one. Luckily for the rest of the world there's also a release with English subs.
Sadly the one with English subs is 10 minutes shorter then the extended Itakian version but don't worry, even the shorter version will feed the gorehounds.
The story in such kind of flicks isn't that important but here we do have an actual simple story. But not for the casual horror geeks because Adam Chaplin always has that demon behind him telling stuff. It's low budget but the effects are really well done. And it's naturally gore galore all the way. Faces being smashed, arms being broken, heads being shot, you know what I mean, all done on- camera.
The acting is below zero and all looks a bit exaggerated. After 45 minutes you have seen it all, the way the killings are done and my attention faded away. But it do became a cult flick that is hardly sought by the gorehounds.
But if you can stand it until the end, the last 12 minutes are really messy.
