This no walk in the park. If you want to look at how cycles of violence & crime pass down through generations from father to son within African American families, then this is a good film to watch. Its gritty to the extreme & difficult to watch. Watching all the trauma, shows to me how the violence of slavery has never been resolved. There is much sadness in parts of this film. Realising people are stuck in their habits. There is much work to be done by US society to properly resource and help these cycles get broken. A lot of dialogue is quite difficult to get, and also expressions to understand, so captions are a good move.

All Day and a Night
All Day and a Night was another disposable film to be and it failed to have bigger emotional moments in it,and by that i also mean bigger impact on me to,story was seen many times already,we are following young guy that lives in a criminal based hood and we are watching how that staff is affecting him and how he tries to resist it and fought back against it and his former mistakes, script was solid at best but there were some lines and words that were to much and they become way to repipative and tiresome, actors give a good job,Jeffrey Wright was again great here and he showed again how he is very underrated actor,All Day and a Night wasnt special film to me in any regard, and i found its premise to be un original and seen to many times
Let me show you how to grow something
