So here is another teen comedy, set in high school, with all the raunchy, sophomore humor that young audiences expect. Except that in this movie, some of the humor actually works.

It would be easy to say that this movie is a total mess and not to waste your time. The problem is that this movie is so badly made, that it actually crosses over into some strange new territory. It is so bad that I was laughing at how ridiculous it was, but at the same time, it felt like the filmmakers were in on the joke. It kind of went back and forth from being so stupid it was funny to just being stupid. Still, it had its moments...

The easiest character to enjoy was Kip Dick, the scuzzy dad who wants to stay young and hip. He dates high school girls and parties with the jocks, but makes time to nail the art teacher behind the dumpster as well.

Then there is the main character. She's the prettiest girl in school, but she's supposed to be a geek. The social studies teacher is a gump, but he is married to the playmate art teacher. The principal gets away with as much inappropriateness as Kenny Powers. One of the Pussycat Dolls is the queen bee. This movie is all over the place and almost as bizarre as a Chalie Kaufman story.

Say what you want about HSH, but it isn't predictable. I can't recommend it, but I had to watch it more than once just to believe I had really seen it.

i don't usually say this a lot but films like this kills more brain cells then alcohol or any other substance abuse does because films like this not only waste time and money but also works like a eraser for the human brains hard drive so if you have some good memories better avoid this at all costs,is there a script for this answer is hell no the director let all these people loose to do whatever they want,for people who look for nudity in these type of films will always fall for it American pie worked because it came at the right time and since then every single teenage or comedy films tried to ape it and failed bad even American pie's own sequels are not that great compared to the original.

so what makes this movie different none it is absolute zero quality below level it is so beyond insulting that it haunts the soul for weeks there is something called common sense before any artistic medium is used by any filmmaker out there for the project regardless if it stays true to its genre still if there are flaws it can be forgiven but at least such project should have a actual plot otherwise it is just stupidity.in what part of the world this type of high school is located maybe i like to check it out where students and having open sex and doing nonsense films like this that promote poking fun at an educational institutions should be banned.

the cast:what cast all of these actors are awful there are only 2 ladies that i liked and my god just what were they doing in this mess Jillian Murray is sexy but her role is useless & Aubrey O'Day oh god is she still in Danity Kane band or left it Aubrey got wasted her she should stick to music acting is not her game.

the plot:now let us just look at the story surprise surprise there is no story here its the same old stuff repeated we have seen it all except Gwen Adams gets married at a very young age the rest of the story is nothing new her dad is a shameless guy and every other guy in school wants to get laid with her this is basically the whole film.

men and women behaving badly what message this film gives is school and colleges are merely nothing but disco or cheap motels where people just come to fulfill their lust. i know its is for entertainment but there has to be some limit this one crossed it by miles,that school Principal is involved himself wow how cool is that.

Overall American High School 2009 is one of the worst film ever made categorizing this in any genre would be a sin and crime my rating is 1/10:Skipp It.

First of all if this is a movie about high school, why does everybody look like they're in their thirties. You would think if they were in their thirties they would finally learn how to act. If they were trying to act badly, then they all deserve Oscars, if not then they should never appear in another movie again. I've watched paint dry that was more interesting than this. This could be another form of torture, it's worse than water-boarding. That's an hour and a half of my life that I will never get back. So basically you get what you expect from American High School, a crap fest with some of the worst writing I have ever seen put to film.
