You do question how long the American Pie franchise can go on for, at least straight to DVD, Reunion was fun, and you could question where they get their ideas from, because they are very bad. Basically, it's meant to be ten years after the first film, and a new group of virgins are trying to get laid, probably for their ego and satisfy their needs. These guys, Rob (Bug Hall),Nathan (Kevin M. Horton) and Lube (Brandon Hardesty) have found what they believe to be the holy grail to help them on their quest. After the library was set on fire, by Rob, he finds "The Bible", aka The Book of Love, you remember, that book that Kevin was looking in to get some sex tips from. To try and attract their ideal partner, they follow step by step some specific things to do before getting laid, and it is only when they do it they realise it may be a mistake, with ruined pages. So they decide to rewrite the book for future readers to take tips from, and only person who can help restore it to its original glory is its creator, Mr. Levenstein (Eugene Levy),of course. The three boys do eventually choose their partner they plan to nail, but it's going to take a lot more than just tips in a book to get what they want, they have to work at it themselves. Also starring Beth Behrs as Heidi, Melanie Papalia as Dana, Jennifer Holland as Ashley, John Patrick Jordan as Scott Stifler (no mention of how he's related to Steve or Erik),EastEnder's Louisa Lytton as Imogen, Curtis Armstrong as Mr. O'Donnell, Rosanna Arquette as Rob's Mom and Kevin Federline as Canadian Border Guard. The gross jokes and nudity are obviously the priority of the films as they go on, making less space for story, the story is pointless, it gets more and more disgusting as it goes on, and you cannot laugh at anything, it is an awful comedy. Poor!

American Pie Presents The Book of Love
starsLAST SLICE OF PIE, PLEASE!
I have seen one other film in the AP series, and I am not very pleased with the movies. Now to set the record straight I love teenage sex comedies. However, a boy making love to a PB&J is not in my realm of humor. Toss in a dog and his brother filming the event and I am out the door.
The movie missed a golden opportunity in The Book of Love. It attempted to reunite certain characters from the past to the present. We had Booger, from the classic "Revenge of the Nerds" as a teacher and Rosanna Arquette from "Amazon Women on the Moon." This should have been a parade of champions from past teenage sex comedies, instead we just get a few to tempt us.
Nudity, sexual situations and non-stop crude sex language. Degrading to women, men, and dogs. Funny at times but not worth the coin.
The Book of Love Minus Love
Yet another ridiculous American Pie spin off, unrelated to the first, that has now been spit into stores for kids to buy and call "the best movie ever". Just great. I always referred to these movies as "kid movies" because I find my friends liking the spinoffs more than the original three because of the excessive female nudity. Maybe we're heading down the sea of nihilism, I don't know.
We are enlightened to see that Bug Hall (The Little Rascals) plays the lead character in this mess, and I would just give the film one and a half stars for him and Eugene Levy, solely. He plays Rob a hopeless virgin along with his other friends Nathan (Kevin M. Horton) and Lube (Brandon Hardesty). While searching for the girl he likes, Rob accidentally sets the school library on fire in which he find the "Book of Love". Partly destroyed, it contains the tips and tricks on how to have sex and pleasure a women. The virgins are now on their quest to have sex and try gain girlfriends as well.
The plot, is rather stupid and just unappealing altogether. It's a typical late high-school plot in which you don't really care about. Yet again, no one returns from previous films, only Eugene Levy who must get paid a shiny new dime to keep returning in these films. He needs to get decent cut for what the franchise makes, otherwise, he would never in his life make such lackluster films.
I will go as far as saying I laughed in a few parts but like Richard Roeper stated, "One laugh every half an hour is not enough for me to recommend this...". The characters are mildly likable, but you don't really care what happens to them even though they are the protagonists of the film. The lackluster acting, the stereotypical objects disguised as girls, and the bad script and storyline is enough to bore you before the first thirty minutes have passed. Like I stated before, teens will like this for the nudity, but any self respecting fan will grow tired, weary, and be utterly repulsed by this loathsome filth disguised as pie. Next.
