Not what I expected but seeing Angelica Hale sing her heart out at the end was epic for me...
A little something to just pass time on.
This kind of story needed to be told... Cuz it's not always glamour, there is always more than what meets the eye.

Kay is the most recent reject from America's hottest singing competition POP STAR NOW. As she mourns her public elimination, she's forced to participate in the network's "After The Cut" filming, and is sent to her hometown to move back in with her mother and the simple life she left behind. With nothing on the horizon and a camera man following her every move, she is reacquainted with the folks of her past and finds herself in the Easter Spectacular at the annual town fair. As it turns out, losing is her only way to win.

Inside Look
An inside look at how being on a "reality" competition show can change your life. It's not all sunglasses and autographs and the mental weight is heavier than the audience knows.

Will Make you Laugh and Cry
American Reject is a feel-good comedy following a 30-something heroine who must come to terms with failure. The film begins with her immense humiliation before all of America, immediately garnering our sympathy for her plight. Though it's clear she has some flaws, we're rooting for her to achieve her dreams (and regain some dignity). Along the way, she grows as a person, makes new friends, and learns some valuable lessons about being a person. This film caused me to laugh and cry. I would recommend American Reject to anyone looking for something both heartfelt and humorous.
