This is a nice continuation of the story that was told in "A Kid from Coney Island." I appreciated the depiction of what took place on the court and off. I also enjoyed seeing a talented actress like Loretta Devine playing Steph's mom. However, I would have really liked to have learned more about and seen more of Steph's off the court acclimation to his new country of residence.

The film will look at the Brooklyn-born point guard's life since arriving in China, where he has helped the Beijing Ducks win three Chinese Basketball Association championships in four years and become one of the country's most popular foreign athletes.
