Dude.. I paid 7 bucks.. and forced every minute of this into my skull.. the only horror felt watching this movie is the sense of loss felt for having watched it in the 1st place.

"Apparition" is a low quality film, an awful production with a script full of clichés. A story about a haunted place and ghosts used to be a good film but not here. The cinematography is bad, the acting is not that good, I can't believe Mena Suvari and Kevin Pollak are part of the cast of this movie. A good point is the makeup special effects, but no more! A totally flop!

The film opens showing us the abuse and murders at a boys reform school in 1995. An infant survives and is raised by? 20 years later Sam (Grayson Russell ) a geeky coder invented an app he calls "Apparition" which allows people to communicate with the dead. After a good connection, the second one takes the sons and daughters of the guard murderers to the reform school.

It was a decent horror film. Nothing really unexpected. The "Carrie" moment didn't work, at least for me. Good characters, fair dialogue.
