Dreadfully annoying movie. I guess the writer felt gore was all it needed and left the talent or entertainment out of it. I thought it would never end it was AWFUL.

I'm not a fan of the campy horror genre in general, but Benny didn't illicit any laughs or scares for me. Benny mixes Chucky and Elmo, but doesn't come up with a good result.

The film starts off with a teaser of a discarded Teddy Bear killing his owner. Jack (Karl Holt) who is 35 has owned Benny since childhood. Benny becomes animated and starts killing everyone who hurts Jack or Jack loves.

The film is a poor man's Chucky Doll which grown people have trouble fighting off. It is a good film for a change. Falls short of a cult film.
