I knew what I was getting into, but I couldn't resist the allure of a killer sexy bunny girl. Which is the one thing it does deliver, and that's about it. There's maybe one well-done interesting kill scene, but it all goes downhill from there, and the leadup to it is tolerable at best.

Also, there's this weird extended mid-credits sequence that was clearly shot later. Which I suspect was only done because the actual movie ends just shy of one hour in.

It's not the worst thing in the world, it just kinda exists. And the experience of watching it is more or less just you and the movie existing at the same time, neither impacting the other in any meaningful way.

BUNNI is a cheap and nasty slasher film made on a micro budget by some Kentucky filmmakers. It was shot on video which gives it a low-fi look, and the production is generally of a very poor quality with a lack of talent all round. The acting on the part of the main actress is particularly bad and the supporting actors aren't much better, come to think of it.

The narrative is very ordinary and features a bland killer working his or her way through the insipid cast members. The emphasis is very much on the gore effects, with the brutal kills the only real highlight this movie has. One extended torture scene is quite gruelling and there's a bit with a razor blade which is quite nasty. A pity it's all so inept that it can't be taken seriously.

After a marriage squabble with terrible acting and dialogue we jump 18 years later as some drunk teens enter an abandoned porn/Halloween shop residence. Here they are picked off one by one and the plot is revealed once they watch the DVD. The film is gore-porn with little plot of decent dialogue. Mercedez Varble was a cleavage tease for much of the film. Mitchell Lee has no business being on screen in a talking role.
