This is probably the worst Bigfoot movie of the last 20 years. There is a massive lack of action and it's such a bore-fest that I couldn't even make the end of it. Pretty much every character is annoying and though I don't mind bad acting, this was embarrassing. The script is garbage and I would really recommend any other b movie Bigfoot film to this one. The only people who found possibly have scored this anything other than 1 star are friends and family of the cast or production crew.
The makers of this should hang their heads in shame!

A lot of friends and family must have reviewed this for it to have even been given 1 star
It could have been so much more...
Granted, I must admit that I had higher expectations for the 2018 movie "Cherokee Creek" than what the movie actually turned out to be. I hadn't heard about the movie prior to getting a chance to sit down and watch it in 2020. And being a fan of the horror genre, of course I took seized the opportunity to sit down and watch it.
First of all, I must say that director Todd Jenkins took forever to get from point A to point B, and managing to tell a whole lot of essentially nothing while taking you there. That made the movie feel long, unnaturally long and mundane. Especially with so little happening, I must admit that my interest in the movie was quickly fading. But I managed to hang in there to the end - mostly because of the performance from Billy Blair.
"Cherokee Creek" is a fairly straight forward movie, one that offers absolutely nothing new to the horror genre. But while it was being so generic, the storyline was so unfathomably slow paced that the air was fast leaking from the movie, and it ended up being a flaccid end result.
The big foot in the movie was adequate. Don't expect to see anything thrilling or overly impressive. The costume worked for its intended purpose, and that was basically it.
This was not an overly impressive movie in any way. And my rating of it lands on a mere three out of ten stars. If director Todd Jenkins had added more contents to the movie, instead of just taking his sweet time doing nothing, the movie would have been a more enjoyable result, because the intention was definitely there - the movie was just horribly executed on the screen.
Solid if slightly overlong sleazy creature feature
Embarking on a trip into the woods, a group of friends takes their engaged-to-be groom on a secret trip out into the woods for a surprise bachelor party where they soon realize that their spot is in the hunting grounds of a monstrous Bigfoot and begins chasing them through the rest of the woods.
This one was a really enjoyable effort. One of it's greatest attributes is the ability to mix together plenty of sleazy antics with the creature feature action. This one really piles on the scatological jokes and references from nearly every character here which really gets hilarious at times. This is also done in nice conjunction with the more normalized comedic undertones here, from the actor friend completely blowing off the fanboy in the group, the continuous stories that are told around the campfire or the entire notion of how they kidnap their friend in the first place which has some great comedy involved. The bigfoot action here isn't bad either, which has some of the best aspects of the film. The first encounter where it stalks the two hunters alone in the woods manages to mix the comedy rather nicely with the bumbling member getting attacked first while he's inadvertently blocking the attempt to shoot it, the scenes of it going around the outside of the campground attacking them in the woods has some great gory kills and the finale containing all manner of attacks gets rather fun with it being quite graphic and sleazy. As well with the fine Bigfoot costume on display, these here manage to hold up the film over its minor flaws. There are a few minor problems here, which all stem from the overlong running time. This one is incredibly jagged in its pacing which results in some scenes taking way longer than they need to or just have no real reason to be included which cause this to be as long as it is. The initial kidnapping and the trip out is quite overlong, and the interactions between the group getting him to calm down and enjoy himself at the trip or getting permission to stay at the campsite are simply dragged out beyond their purpose. Combined with the overall unnecessary exploits of the vengeful wife continually talking about the group out partying to herself as she sets out to get involved in their trip which doesn't need to be there, this one carries on a bit longer than it really should. Some might find issue with the content and material here, but otherwise, there's not much else really overall to hold it down.
