There is nothing good to say about this movie - poor writing, stilted acting, unlikable characters and muddled direction - I could not stand to watch it to the end.

Plot summary
In this hilarious, heartfelt romantic comedy, Brooke must face the holiday season with a looming foreclosure to the cherished family chateau, now turned bed and breakfast. After falling in love with a mysterious book owner, she realizes the man is the same banker who's taking her house. She and her two sisters go head to head against the bank in order to rescue the chateau. But will it be enough to save it from the clutches of these greedy tyrants? Brooke finds a deeper meaning to her past, bonding closer to her family. Her holiday experience may just be the key to unlocking the door to her heart.

Even for a Christmas movie, this is awful!
I don't tune into today's TV Christmas movies expecting an Oscar worthy experience, but this offering is horrible! The cast seemed to do the best with what they were given, so good job there, but the writing and story line are atrocious. How did this EVER get made?

Hey you guys, this is a parody!
It's funny how the reviews are so indignant, but you didn't get it. Yes, it's still a bad movie but it's a joke. It's a parody of Hallmark movies....the narration, the goofy music, the over the top hammy acting. The soundtrack is a cliche of Hallmark TV Christmas. The first clue is that this is most of all the whitest movie you will see in recent years. That's part of the parody. Where on TV would you see a new movie so whitebread in its cast.
