Scott, matt, and mo are three handicapped guys, getting therapy at the same place. To get a little tail, they hire a van and a nurse to check out a place in montreal that caters to the handicapped. Of course, everything goes wrong, but they are determined to get there. Great story. Humor, some raw truth. Some sadness, but that is part of life. Stick around for the credits... there's a bonus clip in there. Based on the 2011 film come as you are, which was written by asta philpot; he actually experienced some of this while in spain, and wrote the films describing it. Check out his story on wikipedia dot org. It's really good. A fair amount of cussing and adult themes, so not for the kids.

Absolute Nirvana
Actually, I came twice.
After discovering a life-altering, potentially deadly symptom last night, I needed a comedy. I went to Amazon and surprisingly, I discovered one fairly quicky I had never heard of: "Come as You Are." What intrigued me was twofold: two of the guys on the promo poster looked cute, but also it was a road/field-trip film about disabled people, which I felt I soon will be. Additionally: how original.
So, I watched it last night, laughed a bit, cried some. Something made me want to watch it again, and I tried, but it was too late in the evening. So, today, the next day, I rewatched it. Something I rarely ever do.
This second viewing solidified my initial feeling of: 5/5 stars. I cried more. I laughed harder. I marveled more. This movie was just as perfect as it comes.
We do meet two incredibly gorgeous men in wheel chairs who are as horny as they come, but they need a third wheel to help satisfy their needs. Luckily, a Precious woman can help and most falls in line.
Upon the second viewing, I laughed harder, cried more and appreciated how REAL this all felt. Yes, I'm aware this is based on a true story. Many movies are, but none felt THIS real.
I 1000% approve of this movie and recommend you seeing it. It has to be the most realistic and original road/field trip movie I've ever seen.

Final thoughts: Something that shocked me a ton: THAT was Janeane Garofalo (as one of the moms)???? The first time seeing this, I had no clue. Took me two times to see it.
What A Gem
Happened upon this film by chance. Thoroughly enjoyed the touching moments as well as the humor.
