Contracted: harsh reviews so far, therefore I'll be the first to change the pace a little.
I've watched horror ever since I can remember, love it, all types, slashers, zombies, ghosts and so on. I graded this one with a 6, maybe a little more than I should, but it definitely has to be over 5, and I'll give you the reasons: 1) the plot was pretty OK, more complex than you see at others 2) characters were divert, one of that, one of this, pretty much natural people 3) dialogue: seems dumb sometimes, might be OK if you consider the nature of the situation each time 4) the ending: did not see that one coming, I for one thought it was heading to a different conclusion.
I actually was drawn into it, I will not criticize the fact that it didn't rely on gore, blood or nudity, always loved diversity. So, to this strange little movie, that shows how a girl can change over the days, I say: bravo! It was not great, but it does move you slowly to the edge of the seat.
Contracted: worth a shot!
Cheers!

Plot summary
During a rough period in her life, beautiful Samantha reluctantly decides to attend her best friend's party, and even though she still struggles with a previous addiction, she unwisely accepts a drink from a complete stranger. As a result, shortly after, hapless Samantha considerably inebriated, she will end up raped in the backseat of the malicious predator's car, however, from that point on, the terrible incident will be the least of her problems. Straight away and rather inexplicably, poor Samantha will begin noticing rapid and drastic organic changes in her body, and being unable to pinpoint the origin of the dramatic transformation, within the next 72 hours, she will embrace her gruesome and pitiless fate as well as the certainty that she is falling apart. Literally.

It deserves better.
I'm way too high for this
Samantha (Najarra Townsend) part time lesbian and drug user gets slipped a roofie at a party and has unprotected car sex. The next few days, Sam gets progressively worse as she seems to have the worse STD on the planet. The story is about her getting sick and attempting to cope with life while trying to conceal an illness. I kept waiting for an alien to pop out of her and all I got were maggots.
The disease was never explained. I thought Ms. Townsend did an excellent job and I would love to see her in something that has a plot worth watching. The plot ran around in circles and never went anywhere until the end when it got silly.
Written, produced, and directed by Eric England. Works as a rental. Don't expect horror. More of a drama/thriller.
Parental Guide: F-bomb, sex. Brief male rear nudity.
Just a touch
It's actually more than just a touch, it's also a bit out of this world at times. The movie tries to keep it real (and the main actress is doing a really good job with that),but some things are just not really how they'd work out. The doctor to name just one, should get his license removed (although as often times with these movies, the main character seems very oblivious to some serious issues he or she is having and refuses to get help).
If it comes to low budget horror that are a bit of a throwback, I'd still recommend "Starry Eyes" over this, but you could also watch both. This is nicely told and if you oversee some of the flaws (like people "reacting" or rather not) to our main character "changing", you will get a nice experience out of this. And some very gross moments to remember it by
