I first saw this in a theater with my dad in the year 2k.
Cant recollect whether it was Sterling theatre, Regal or Eros cos all are situated in South Mumbai.
To be honest, i enjoyed the movie then but aft revisiting it recently, i found it to be dull n dumb.
The movie has dumb dialogues.
First a woman tells the killer to attack her to distract but when the killer comes close, she tells him to stay away as if the killer will listen to her.
A fella gets impaled by a water tap is way too ridiculous.
The effects are lousy n the rubber mask is way too obvious.
I dont kno why Kylie Minogue agreed to star in in this movie.
The movie has no tension n suspense n the kills ain't scary or gruesome.

Plot summary
A group of film students attempt to finish a horror movie that stopped production years earlier when the director was killed. Unaware that every attempt to complete the pic coincided with the murders of those involved, the students return to the original location in an isolated part of the country. When filming begins, so do the killings.

Forgettable slasher.
An Interesting Attempt to Revive the Slasher Genre
A killer begins to stalk the actors of a low budget horror film, killing them off one by one.
Molly Ringwald appears as a diva actress, Kylie Minogue is also here (not sure where exactly in her career this falls). And we have a very cool killer mask. What else?
The movie is actually fairly decent. Not great, not one that is going to become a classic, but a decent take on the slasher genre and a film that successfully rides the coattails of "Scream". The idea of a cursed film that needs to be finished is nice -- maybe not completely original, but a good combination with the slasher aspects.
I simply have no idea what more to say. The film is not a deep one -- college kids in a big house and they are getting killed. It looks slick, maybe a little bit cheaply made but not bad. Disposable, but worth a peek for horror aficionados.

I think the only thing that I actually really liked/enjoyed was the ending. And yes it seems to be enough to give it an extra star in my vote. Of course for slasher fans, any new movie might be worth their while. I'd imagine there is another rating system (like how cool were the killings, how much blood is there and so forth),instead of caring about the acting or the story.
Of course I'm not trying to speak in general terms. I'm just trying to give you a hint, what I weighed into my vote. So you can see from that point if my rating, will affect your view on the film, or if it makes you want to see the movie or not ... That's up for you to decide!
