A cheap B-movie horror with very little to recommend it. A group of insufferable characters dress up for a kind of murder mystery weekend on board a train, but soon they're stranded and assailed by not only thieves but a random monster too. This interminable film feels like it goes on forever, and some cheap gore FX do little to alleviate the boredom. Lance Henriksen gets about five minutes screen time tops.

I am always a sucker for the train horror as we always know it ends with a wreak and everyone dies. Lance Henriksen had a small role, slowly becoming the Stan Lee cameo of horror films. This is a murder mystery train as people dress in costume for the era. They have dinner and have to solve a murder, which changes with each trip. We are introduced to all the characters by Frank Lammers who did a heck of a job. And then someone is killed except it wasn't part of the show, or was it?

I liked the film which could have had multiple endings. Decent acting.

This is not Murder on the Orient Express ... because it is not the Orient Express. Also there are multiple victims here ... and a way different story. All seems fun and gamey at the beginning ... but there is more to this than meets the eye initially. It feels quite convoluted at first, though the big twist at the end supposedly gives you answers of sorts.

That doesn't mean you'll be satisfied and not just because you still have to fill in the blanks. The movie low budget and very bloody, so be aware of that. Many shocking effects, though some outside the camera view. CGI is overall ok but due to the budget restraints it is of course not the best. A decent moody effort for those who are not easily disturbed or have issues with hardcore horror and blood
