Dave Attell returns with his second solo stand-up feature special and first for HBO. Attell performs at Washington's Lincoln Theater, a substantial upgrade over his first special. Everything is bigger this time around, with Attell ramping up the offensive material, which is saying something for Attell, and the crowd eats it up. But Attell seems to be taking steps to become a parody of himself here, devolving into a caricature of a mid-40s sleazeball. What before seemed endearing, the lovable low-life with a heart of gold now feels more like he's pandering to the lowest common denominator. He still manages to hit a few times while swinging wildly, but the results are far from satisfying. Attell is stronger when employing a more conversational style and in front of a smaller audience. Less is most certainly more in this case.

Basically, nothing but penis jokes
A few jokes that makes one smile, then the descent into bodily function jokes (what you do on Jagermeister, etc),and it just gets worse. Unless you're into that, avoid this like the plague. No wonder, that in 2021 I've never heard of this guy!
Freakin' Hilarious !! YAGER!!!!
First off I have to say that Dave Attel is a genius. He is an absolutely hilarious comic who is overshadowed by all the other famous yet unstellar comics. I have to say thought that this is one of the most brilliant, hilarious stand up specials you'll see ever. This and Shameless with Louis CK that also came out his year. No I'am not a huge fan of Dave. I did watch his show Insomniac a few times but never really got into it, but after watching this stand up, I wouldn't mind looking into more of his work. But anyway, this is definitely worth a look, but caution this is an adult comedy if you're under the age of 17, you might just be offended by the offensive humor of Dave so check it out.
