Horrible story with a modern in take of a romeo and juliet story. Story is horrible. Terrible script. Bad acting. Humor is stale. Just one of those worst films ever made.

This film start with the narrator talking about Ben, and the introduction of the main character "Ben" scene! As turnout, this film is about a man "Terrence" need to kill Ben, who want to marry his lover "Mary"! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the driving scene, overuse of the staring scene, overuse of the slow motion scene, overuse of the narration scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the arguing scene, overuse of the rewind scene, overuse of the talking with the phone scene, overuse of the kissing scene, overuse of the eating scene, overuse of the song playing at the background scene, overuse of the drinking scene, overuse of the smoking scene, overuse of the sleeping scene, overuse of the news broadcasting scene, overuse of the cursing scene, overuse of the dancing scene, and overuse of the long angle building scene! Make the film unwatchable! At the end, Ben shot by Terrence, and Mary killed Terrence! Mary drive away with Ben at the very end! That's it! Completely wasting time to watch!

Ben Gibbon (Diego Boneta) and Mary Rathcart (Alexandra Daddario) are rebels at heart and are in love. They are both rich kids in rival media families in this too often retold version of "Romeo and Juliet." Mary is kept on a short leash while Ben is off the chain.

The narrative uses some cartoons and cute dialogue in an attempt to be funny and clever. It falls short on originality and being overly entertaining. There are gibbons on the TV and a references to monkeys in case you didn't pick up on the name. Didn't feel like I knew any of the characters.
