I write this review when Disrupted had a 5.1 rating on here. Much too low in my humble opinion. I thought this movie was entertaining, with no real dead moments, a well written story that keeps you focused, some bloody violence and more than decent acting from actors I know by face but not by name. In other words not very famous actors but that doesn't mean bad acting, au contraire. Disrupted is certainly worth a watch if you don't mind a bit of brass knuckles beatdowns.

Not bad at all, deserves a higher rating.
A decent thriller
I didn't like all of the parts of it, some made me confused, but all together it was an unexpectedly good thriller. Like some parts in this story are a cliche, but others, on the other hand, feel quite fresh - something new. A lot of movies don't bring anything new at all, so I value anything new more than I dislike cliche. I expect this movie didn't had anywhere near the budget they do in Hollywood, still this movie is 10 times better then a lot of them high budget thrillers I've seen in the past. This movie didn't really stike me as a masterpiece, but it's still a decent one.
Comparison is the thief of joy
The film opens with a number of subplots but quickly centers on Pete (Ron Kaell). Pete is a reformed alcoholic on parole. His life went downhill after his wife was killed with brass knuckles. He is given clues to the killer's identity when another person is killed the same way. We know Harry Price (Geoffrey Lower) is the bad guy who is darkly entertaining serving his guests cheap wine who can't tell the difference.
The film seemed confused at times until it all comes together. It takes place in the Bay Area and Tahoe.
