It's a Boy!!! It's a Girl!!! It's One of Each!!!

"Double Daddy" is a film that is not short on fireworks. In almost every new scene there is something more outlandish in the conduct of Miss Heather Henderson, who has manipulated her way into making Conner Walker the double daddy of the film's title.

The prolific Conner has managed to impregnate both Heather and the young woman he truly loves, Amanda Cohen. But Heather is determined to drive a wedge into Conner's relationship with Amanda. She is especially skillful in her use of her cell phone in taking selfies to give the appearance she and Conner are a couple.

The most extraordinary scene is a mad dash through the woods with the very pregnant Heather wielding a knife while she is chasing the very pregnant Amanda. The two young women fall off a little cliff, plopping down into the leaves below. Amanda then assists Heather in the delivery of her baby!

While the film was apparently "inspired" by a true story, there was a sly tongue-in-cheek approach to the dramatic material. Some of the characterizations were over-the-top caricatures, such as Heather's repellent father or her equally disgusting former boyfriend Trent.

It was never really credible that the wealthy parents of Conner would actually move Heather into their home. And it was never made entirely clear whether or not Conner and Amanda would be raising two children during the twenty years that Heather would be wearing an orange jumpsuit.

A Question of Morality **1/2

My rating for this film, not a bad one as films go, was lowered due to the morality question. I objected to all parents concerned accepting the situation as is, a shower party thrown by friends in honor of the nice girl, and the fight in the hallway viewed by all students and staff with little to nothing done. Years ago, pregnant teens went to special schools when their conditions became shall we say noticeable.

As far as the film itself, the acting was good and with the particular Lifetime flair, our evil girl, by film's end, is up to her old tricks, so we don't know what is really going to happen.

The guy who got the 2 girls into trouble is depicted as clean cut, from an affluent family, and with college intentions.

These type of films should not be made to the message here. Let's continue with the themes of sanctity of marriage and protecting yourself.

Possibly the greatest movie ever!

#doubledaddy, so many twists and turns in this future cult classic, you may sense sarcasm but this movie was so bad it ended up being good!
