An interesting story about the (unwanted) transformation of a girl and its alter ego (for real).

The plot is quite original and the evolution of the characters not bad. A teenage girl learns about what it means to grow up (with all its side effects) and the value of friends and family, while the mother learns that she must let go of her daughter, even if the latter wants to go other paths. A typical fantasy story with the obligational moral ending, with a strong Chinese flair. Watch it with your kids and prepare a lot of pop corn.

Embrace The Panda: Making Of Turning Red Is An Wonderful Documentary told from the perspectives of this BEAUTIFUL Pixar Film. Domee Shi is a fun & cute director and absolutely did a excellent job on this film. Love how the film captured, making of its animation, animal Red pandas, production design, light, references to ANIME, Mei as a character, soo many characters and exploring animation puberty. Overall I loved how this film came together, struggling with COVID to finish it, with massive cute ideas with red pandas, Domee Shi's life and shows how her own actual life as a teen and how she visioned it exactly in a FUN and Energetic Pixar Film- thats an ultimate DREAM COME TRUE. Really Looking forward to her future work. Made me actaully love Pixar's Turning Red EVEN MORE. Shows me how much effort they went with this type of film, and I respect them for that. Really Hoping this for Best Animated Feature

The behind scene showed us a great team that put a truely unique pixel movie together. I have been obsessed with the trailer and determined to see it on the big screen. Why is it not on big screen Disney? It is such a let-down to a great team.
