Even with five - FIVE! - writers on board, Rizki Balki's 'Geez & Ann' fails to develop a deep and intimate experience and ultimately never able to bloom into anything but a generic teen romance flick. What moves the film to enjoyable territory though was due to the cute chemistry between the leads. They're not the best acting performances, but Junior Roberts and Hanggini look good together and does enough to come out as natural, charming, and romantically exciting.

Ann was a very selfish main character and continuously prioritized her feelings over Geez's. Geez did everything he could for her, sent her tons of gifts and over small things she gets mad at Geez. She's overly sensitive and fails to take responsibility for her emotions. Geez did so many things for her but what has Ann done for him? Absolutely nothing. She accepts a proposal from her boss whom she isn't even dating over a nice, caring and understanding guy that waited FOUR YEARS for her. Ridiculous.

This is too basic and too orfinary just like the usual love story.
