A gory and entertaining movie with some references to the zombie genre and geek culture to watch on a sunday afternoon.
But if you want to see a better movie about a group of people trying to get out of a place full of zombies to save themselves, better watch Train to Busan.

A fun movie to watch only once
Essentially just another generic zombie comedy...
I have to admit that I was a bit excited when I stumbled upon this 2020 Taiwanese horror comedy as it was a zombie movie. And of course I needed no persuasion to sit down to watch it.
While writers Shih-Keng Chien, I.-Fan Wang and Wan-Ju Yang definitely came up with a storyline that made for a watchable movie, then I have to say that "Get the Hell Out" was not an overly outstanding addition to the zombie franchise. Why? Well because this felt more like orchestrated chaos than an actual movie.
And by that I mean that the storyline told in "Get the Hell Out" was so simplistic that it was almost non-existing. So this is the type of movie where you disconnect your brain, grab the popcorn, lean back in the chair and just ride along. Yup, director I.-Fan Wang wasn't exactly dishing out grand cinematic moments here.
For a zombie movie then "Get the Hell Out" was just another generic run-of-the-mill zombie movie that deals with a localized outbreak without offering much of any explanation to anything. Sure, there was the reference to a chemical plant, but that was about it.
They had an okay ensemble of actors and actresses on the cast list, though I can't claim to be familiar with any of them. And that is something that I do enjoy in movies; watching unfamiliar faces on the screen. Of all the performers in the movie, I have to point out actress Francesca Kao as being the most memorable in the movie.
And with "Get the Hell Out" being a zombie movie, I must admit that I wasn't particularly much a fan of the zombie type used in the movie. They were fast and agile zombies, running and jumping all over the place, and making bestial growls. That just doesn't constitute a zombie in my book.
I managed to sit through the entire ordeal, though I was only mildly entertained. And I doubt that I will ever be returning to watch "Get the Hell Out" a second time.
My rating of "Get the Hell Out" lands on a mediocre five out of ten stars.
Really ?
Tw horror this is kinda one of the worst. No shoryline, not funny, bad acting. Important is no difference from zombie movies.
