I am honestly so shocked at how bad this movie was, that I won't even bother explaining it. Story was horrible, acting was horrible, effects were horrible, and the list goes on.
Anyone who gives this movie over a 1 or 2 was either a part of the movie, related to someone in the movie, or paid to rate it highly. Period.

Worst garbage I have ever seen!
Sheriff Joe Haladin: To Texas what Longmire is to Wyoming
For me, it is surreal to read these negative reviews. This film has won Best Feature Film at 6 film festivals so far, and there may be more. The story concerns a horrific crime and how it gets coped with, not only by law enforcement but by the people who are affected by it- and it is a crime that is taken from real life. The story has a lot of arc, and a lot of twists and turns. It is absolutely not plodding, as one reviewer put it. If anything, it's the opposite because it barrels along in a rapidly changing milieu.
One reviewer said it was the smallest cast he's ever seen. It has 29 speaking roles and many extras. How could it be the smallest cast he's ever seen? There are indie films with just a few actors, and I mean few enough to count on one hand. There are big budget studio films with fewer actors, such as Castaway with Tom Hanks and All is Lost starring Robert Redford. There is absolutely nothing deficient about the size of our cast.
This film has plenty of action, especially for an indie film; it has stirring and poignant dialogue, and it has a gripping storyline. Besides winning Best Feature 6x, the star of the film Jeff Weber has won Best Actor at two film festivals.
I'll close by reminding you that online forums are often filled with loathers and haters. I'm not saying that the film is for everyone because it depends on what kind of films you like. This is a story about a crime that is truly a tragedy and how the people who are affected by it cope with it, In the story, Joe Haladin is the Sheriff who has to respond to the crime as the county's top law enforcement officer, but he is also personally affected by it and has to cope with it as a father, husband, and friend. And what makes it moving is knowing that a lot of people have gone through it and have had to cope and survive. I think that if you are a mature person, and you like stories the reflect real life and the struggles that people have coping with unexpected and unimaginably sudden loss, then you I believe you will enjoy the film.
What can you expect when you make a movie during a pandemic
Smallest cast in a movie i have ever seen.
Writing, directorship, acting and everything else = Bad high school drama assignment.
