I was hoping throughout the movie that things would turn around for the main character and that he would have some better luck. Nothing ever did change for him. And when he finally saved enough money to get his own place, the money was stolen from him because he did not hide the money well. Never hide money in a place where you may be denied access to the hidden spot. The acting was good and the actors were believable, but there wasn't any plot. It was just a sad and dismal story.

During the day, he seeks refuge from the cold in the downtown public library and a local coffee shop. He feels alone and anonymous in a seemingly connected world. Weeks go by and the long days and sleepless nights begin to wear on him, and he becomes increasingly discouraged when he finds it almost impossible to find a job with the shelter as his address. But suddenly his circumstances change for the better and he finds himself adapting to a new home, new friends and looking forward to a future that he hopes will last.

Sad and Dismal
Reveiw titled "Double up on your Antidepressant" says it all!!
Love that review and so accurate. What an awesome film but im so utterly sad for him. Damn. This young kiddo did an excellent job with such desperate, hopeless subject matter, he literally carried this film in every way; not only that this is his first film...wow unbelievable! Bravo Michael! I felt his pain and loss deeply and in a very visceral way. I agree, I wanted to reach through the screen and give him a hug. Damn. Oh and did I say damn? Good luck, awesome film, holds you throughout, but heartbreaking story for certain. Highly Recommended!! Well done!
Wow
I've not read any reviews of this film so I might be repeating others' thoughts, but wow, that was one of the most heart rendering, emotional films I've ever seen. Gosh (Josh with a G) is the eponymous homeless guy. He's not been dealt a good hand in life through no fault of his own. He meets kindly people on his journey towards normality. But what is normality? Neither a drug addict nor an alcoholic, Gosh has been dealt bad cards. And you so wish for a happy ending for him. Does he get one? I won't spoil it - but maybe happy endings are for the multiplexes. A beautifully bleak 8 out of ten
