Sculpted from clay and brought into disturbing relief Singh offers a glimpse into the mind of a dangerous loner in modern London.
Dark, disturbing and dangerous Singh dares to immerse himself into Huey , the owner of a dangerous mind on the brink of collapse played by Moriarty brilliantly, and let us live to tell the tale. Boyden plays Lucy a young woman thrust into a challenging and unenviable position. Her characters forced arc is well paced and well looked after in Singh's hands.
Will look for more from this new director in the coming years.

Disturbingly Brilliant
Fascinating look into the mind of an antagonist
Huey is a fascinating look into the mind of an antagonist, bringing the viewer into glimpses of the titular character's life as he struggles to form his identity and delves deeper into his self-inflicted destiny. A great commentary on modern incel culture, and their hedonistic self-pity for their own wilful behaviour.
While being a fascinating watch, Huey is also full of beautifully crafted scenes. The cinematography really shines, along with the high calibre original soundtrack, great acting from the lead actor, and creative eye-grabbing film poster.
Indie film with the visuals of a big budget film
I have an interest in British indie films and this is a solid one.
The visuals are spot on, with some really creative shots and colour grading that add to the noir-esque mood. It's hard to like the titular character, but this isn't a flaw - you want to see how far he can go into his madness, while also hoping he fails and becomes a better person. It creates for a great moral duality and interesting watch.
Would recommend.
