I wasn't expecting anything from this movie, and i just loved it! Actresses are cute, it's light and funny, the soundtrack is nice... I recommend!

The director Christin Baker and crew brought once again a fun entertaining journey for love. The story is about a music star that heads home for New Year's Eve to break her writer's block little she knows that her inspiration was true love. The opening sequence was fantastic with a vibrant performance and the perfect song of what the film was setting into. I honestly thought I wouldn't like this film because right after the strong opening there was a psychic scene that kind of felt out of place but I was so wrong. Once I kept watching I realized the importance of that scene and it was not out of place as I thought it was lighthearted. Also, it sets the journey of finding the most important thing which was love and breaking the fourth wall sets the humor beautifully. Sometimes one dislikes a holiday due to so many bad moments during that time and this story also gives hope that there will be a time when one's luck will turn around. Hope was the powerful theme, this story opens one's heart to reach for it, to cherish every detail, and to never miss out on what is in front of you. I love the concept of the way social media was used it was so fun and it kept me exhilarated throughout the film, wishing the night would never end.

The composer Emer Kinsella sets an amusing adventure atmosphere. The song North Star was beautiful full of desire, hope, and dreams.

The main cast Dia Frampton, Ashley Argota, Candis Cayne, Andrew Brennen, and Tamiko Robinson Steele gave solid performances. The chemistry between Dia Frampton and Ashley Argota was adorable and it was beautifully represented by having one knowing what she wants while the other was blinded by it. Candis Cayne and Andrew Brennen both sets the humor and the ones guiding the path of love in their own realistic way.
