This movie should get an award for the worst acting ever. I couldn't get past the first five minutes, it's THAT bad.

Cringe-worthy "acting"
Timely Zombie Film
Who knew that a post apocalyptic movie would be so timely right now? Well Into the Void touches right on the nerves of all of us right now, and then some. While I thoroughly enjoyed this well made indie, I couldn't help but feel their pain. Of course its' fictional and slightly more dangerous-in its Zombie world theme-it still strikes a chord as it is grounded in a psychological tale that's relatable. Excellent performances by the two leads, Ioan Sebastian Tirlui and Molly Dyson and smart directing by Jordan Cantello make Into the Void a perfect diversion for these scary times!
Vicious, morbid, grotesque misogyny
I normally get pretty fed up with all the Woketard "messages" that are forced into movies, and reviews from Woketards trying to prove how feminist they are, but this movie got under my skin for the exact opposite reason. This film is so viciously anti-feminist that it made me sick. In the opening scene a miserable couple (as if there's any other kind!) are hashing out how horrible the relationship is for both of them. The girl, in a rare moment of genius, says "I'm done with this, I'm breaking up with you". And she means it. The guy refuses to respect her decision and refuses to stop chasing her. The more she runs, the more aggressively he follows her. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR IS ACCEPTABLE IN MOVIES OR IN REAL LIFE! Chasing someone aggressively when they've clearly stated their request to be free of you is not love, no matter who does it! It is oppression & intimidation, period. This behavior should be offensive no matter who it happens to, regardless of gender. But somehow the Wokies never protested this film. It just got worse from there. Mid-chase, the "pandemic" hits & the girlfriend becomes disoriented. Jerk Boyfriend takes this as his cue to continue chasing and restraining her against her will, because she "needs help". She escapes him many times and he chases and restrains her many times, often flashing back to acts of domestic violence he committed during their relationship. He now tells himself that he must keep chasing & restraining her in order to "make up" for the domestic violence he committed when they were together. It goes on and on like that. He literally kidnaps her from her deathbed to prevent her from receiving medical care in the final scene. This story is so grotesque. How it got made, much less won awards, utterly baffles me. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Deeply offensive on every technical & psychological level. Poorly written, poorly acted, poorly filmed. I want a copy on dvd just to throw it in a fire. SHAME ON YOU, CANADA. As an extra insult, they cast a guy who looks just like Roosh-V to play the "romantic hero", and I'm certain it was a deliberate homage to his sick misogynistic movement from the filmmakers. How on earth this film escaped the attention of the Woke-Censors, I will never know.
