Usually, a story only shows one character's point of view. This film manages to present various points of view of the characters very beautifully. Each character has the opportunity to shine and have sufficient screen time for character development. Kudos to the director, screenwriter and editor of this film! This is how a drama film should be made!

When Ayumi(Suzu Hirose) and Soyoka(Nana Mori) look like angels or something unreal existences; the real world begins to ovelap with fantasy; and Otosaka's(Masaharu Fukuyama) mental journey begins too. It is like a timeleap but the present and the past are overlapped therefore fantasic. Then this fantasy ends with taking a picture. This sequence is marvelous!!

I think some episodes of the first half are lack necessity, though funny and heartful. But I was so moved by the latter part that I almost forgot that problems.

Camera work and beautiful scenaries are also good. I watched twice in order to see the detailes of this movie.

This is a calm and collected cool film with a couple of pretty teen girls who take matters into their own hands. one of them actually plays two roles. The bad guy's wife is ignored by him and is ripe for some action. Otherwise, a calm family drama courtesy of the art movie channel.
