Did Led Zeppelin play the Wheaton Youth Center in Wheaton Maryland on Jan. 20, 1969 before 50 people...and not get paid? Did their manager argue with DJ/Promoter Barry Richards in order to get gas money for the group? How did teen centers and high school gyms become the embryo for rock and roll concerts? All this and much more...including footage of Led Zeppelin playing the Laurel Pop Festival in 1969 and backstage for the double bill of Led Zeppelin and The Who at Merriweather Post Pavilion. A compelling circumstantial case is made for Led Zeppelin playing the Wheaton Youth Center. Just as compelling for the show being a myth are remarks made by music columnists Michael Oberman and Richard Harrington (both writers covered the music scene in 1969. Fun, funny, historical rock doc.
