I don't even like boxing much to be honest, but i like stories and this was a great story and well put together. I actually missed the first few minutes and it was just on in the background, but it caught my attention and kept it throughout. Its an action/drama documentary based on real events, so there are moments that will leave you feeling emotional(warning). After watching this I have a better understanding of the boxing world and how personal interactions can work inside of it. For the most part in the past, I have just heard the negative side of things on the news and things relating to money, but this goes deeper, into the teams, friendships and there is nothing fake or dramatized about it in my opinion. I can not compare it to other boxing documentaries, but it is one of the best documentaries i have seen in general. It just worked for me, and only the sad parts made me hesitate on my feelings for it. If you're looking for a good true story, then you have it right here. However, if your in the mood for a film with a happy/feel good ending, you might want to hold off on this as true reality is not always roses of course.
