Plot summary
As the Compliance and Outreach Manager for The Animal Discovery Institute, a non-profit animal rights organization headquartered in San Diego, Tilly Monterey finally gets a chance to lead the charge on the company's next project: an Australian penguin sanctuary in dire need of some financial assistance. Joined by her sister Gemma, Tilly journeys to The Crystal Bay Penguin Sanctuary, where she meets the local team including the wonderfully compassionate head zoologist, Fletcher Grant. As Fletcher teaches her more about the sanctuary's needs and Little Blue penguins that they house, it becomes clear to Tilly that planning a fundraising gala to bring more attention - and donations - to the sanctuary is the way to go. Given one week to complete the task, its all-hands-on deck as Tilly, Fletcher, Gemma and the team fundraise, promote, and prepare for the epic event. At first, Tilly and Fletcher have a very different approach to the cause, however, as they explore the luscious landscapes of Australia and harmonize their energy to give back, their efforts turn from jarring to motivating to ultimately pull off a successful gala. Through their time spent together - and with a little inspiration from the sanctuary's penguins - Tilly and Fletcher learn that once you open your heart and stretch your wings, you may just find the one you want to waddle through life with.—Incendo

Gorgeous ecenery and genuine acting!!
The scenery of the movie was just gorgeous!! The story is romantic and brings all kind of feelings together like the importance of taking care of each other's as a community.
All scenes were well done as was the acting, which was so genuine specially from the protagonist and her sister.
I did like the music and they had one of the actor playing the guitar and singing in one of the scenes.
I would have wanted a deeper and more romantic build up from the couple and I was surprised to see a very common theme in the conflict at the end from the couple but other than that it was a great movie that I recommend watching with your family.
Love. Penguins.
Tilly Monterey (Tammin Sursok) is the Compliance and Outreach Manager for The Animal Discovery Institute and she finally gets to be in charge of her own project, helping The Crystal Bay Penguin Sanctuary in Australia get itself out of a financial mess. She takes her sister Gemma (Madeleine West) with her and you know it, soon falls for head zoologist, the hunky Fletcher Grant (Jason Wilder). But will all that be enough to save this place in just a week?
Director Christine Luby seems to specialize in these kinds of oceanic stories with The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay and the Netflix series Dive Club in her IMDB resume. This was written by Annelies Kavan.
I have to say, this movie promises love and penguins and delivers both. You're not going to get much conflict and you're going to get some cute penguins waddling about. In a world of darkness and cruelty, I see that as a winning proposition.
