A group of teens lives in the Jersey shore vacation land. Tourists rent expensive homes and they rob them to give themselves something to do. A couple of them get caught and snitch. Meanwhile, there is some buried treasure they have been cashing in. Internal conflict over the gold.

I just wasn't hooked by the characters and the plot. It seemed like it dragged as I was waiting for something to happen.

This is a bad movie. An unsympathetic bunch of kids steal stuff from unoccupied houses. When they come upon a treasure of coins greed gets them. A silly romance with a strange looking girl. After suffering through the unlikable characters, the showdown. The whole thing came to nothing. What happened after the bad boy was shot?

Story had promise. A clique of house robbing teens can't quite get it together; turn on each other; make bad decisions. Lots of holes in the story such as how the parental, justice & legal systems dealt with the consequences of their indiscretions. And, most unlikely, how they kept encountering each other at precisely the right moment in the most remote places. Ending was vague and a body dumped in sea water is going to float at some point.
