A solid story that wasn't lost in "art" where an anti-hero does what he does best, is not a hero. It was a bare-bones production so if your 'thing' is giant CG robot battles, skip it. If you can handle a story line with a beginning, middle, and end, that adds up to a pretty good movie, here you go.

This might have been worth it if it were a 5-minute short -- Max. Spent most of the time jumping forward in10-second segments during which nothing happened, where the actors did not even move. It seems movie makers are going as braindead as politicians.

The main actor (Chris Charais) was a fine actor but almost every other person felt like they were acting, especially the children.

Max bishop is essentially a less charming, less brutal, tongue in cheek 'Leon the professional.'. The story over stayed it's welcome and the whole thing really could have been 20 minutes shorter.

With that said I wasn't miserable watching it, I could just see with a few small changes the film could have been great.
