A group of friends who don't look tough want to fight in an underground fight club in Korea. They need to make contacts and promo films etc. Eventually they make their way into the dark web. The only way they can make money is to bet on themselves and win. Unfortunately, they don't know when to get out.

This was hand held footage. They jerked the camera around while people were fighting. I assume that was done to cover up poor choreography. I was bored with the main characters and liked to see them get punched. The standard gambler's formula for quitting when you start to lose is 2/3 of your maximum amount.

As an art house film, this is an interesting entry. The stunt was surprisingly intricate (unless they really beat each orher up) and non-choreographed messy realistic fights. The drama and life taking sh##ty turn is a common thing, but executed in acceptable level. Overall, this is quite enjoyable as a movie you want to watch at least once. Rewatch value a bit low.

Why is this movie ending with murder that has not really anything to do with the Fight Club?

And are the characters really that stupid to think that they can beat well trained fighters with a little practice?

There are many more questions that come to mind while watching this desaster.

The choice to film this movie as mockumentary was only made, so they can use their smartphones. It is just too expansive to invest some money in equipment.

What ist the purpose of Money Fight? Maybe that you should trust nobody that you meet online? :)
