"My Life Without Air" is a very personal film about Goran Colak. I thought we are going to see a documentary about freediving and the characters who are participating in it. The director Bojana Burnać instead made a character study only about Goran Colak. What really fascinated me was the way this movie was directed. It felt to me that the film almost became like Goran himself in order to make us understand him. He is quite the introvert and extremely driven by becoming the best freediver. Instead of letting information and numbers rain over us, the movie mimics the protagonist. This is a unique and brave way to direct that should be appreciated. Gorans motives about freediving in general are debatable but that's just how he is.
Plot summary
Free-diver Goran Colak has dedicated his life to surviving devoid of oxygen. Driven by a desire to be the best in the world, Goran has achieved every feat possible in the sport of free-diving. In doing so he has expanded our understanding of human capability, floating in an arrested state somewhere between life and death. Beautifully lyrical, My Life Without Air demonstrates the power of will to transcend its body's earthly limitations.

So Boring
There's no context given, no explanations for anything, and almost nothing interesting happens at any point during the film. The first seven minutes would be better spent pointing the camera at a wall with paint drying. It's like they followed someone around with a camera for a few days then randomly edited together some of the footage.
