Well, this movie is hard to see. It has a nice story, and a well balanced pace... but... First of all, forget Adkins... here, he is only a secondary character, a decoy. The actors aren't great, but I've seen a lot worst in Hollywood, so... The audio, oh man... The accents are awful... For me that's the major let down on this movie, the awful accents... Why didn't they keep this in their native language?
Still, the first time I saw it, I was disappointed... I saw because of Adkins and the awesome trailer, but he only shows hopoe for a couple of minutes... The second time, I forced myself to rewatch it, with low expectations, and I was entertained.
That's it... not good, but way better than the first Hulk movie (2003),and many others after that...

Not too bad for what it is
First of all it's a foreign movie, not a Hollywood production so the accent and acting are far from perfect but.. the story is pretty interesting. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but as far as I am concern it was watchable. It's not as bad as some people say.
Disappointing
NO SURRENDER is an Egyptian historical action film set in the early 20th century. The heroes are a group of Egyptian patriots to have to contend with unrest and political discord when a local girl is raped by occupying British soldiers. What follows is a kind of siege scenario focused on a local jail, with simmering tensions gradually coming to a head and violence erupting. The direction is okay and there's a lot of fluidity in the camerawork which is good, but otherwise I found this sorely lacking in terms of character depth and originality. Scott Adkins features heavily on the cover in the west but he has only ten minutes of screen time or so, although being Adkins he makes the very most of that time with some slick moves.
