Should read reviewws first
Even as a play that's been filmed it's bad
Sorry but this is a disaster, this could be a disaster artist 2. I'd love meet writer!
Maybe spend more time on the scripts than you do creating fake profiles to get this disasters star rating up on here! I'd put cash on the last few positive reviews being penned by the same person!
2 for amateur attempt, 0 for professional film.
Look, we all have to start somewhere, but thank God everyone's first filmic efforts are not pushed into the public eye since most are embarrassing.
Hoorah for the folks that made this - you found something to keep you busy during COVID.
With or without the disclaimer at the beginning, anyone with a discerning eye can see in very short order this is not a professional piece - the choices are all wrong for film.
It feels more like a high school production made by some nice folks who just discovered Film Noir and want to tell you all about it. It is fun in places (in a campy, local theatre way) and if you like that kind of unfinished, and amateur quality but with a bit of heart, then by all means, give it a watch. But don't waste your money on it if you think you are about to watch a true film noir. That it is not.
Hopefully the folks who made Noir, if they are serious about making the switch into film, will come back after some time and effort spent on learning some film craft. And a little humility in the face of the daunting task of making a professional, well-wrought film.
