I highly recommend watching "on the arm". It has a great plot line and is an all around fun find. I love gangster type movies and this one came with absolutely no disappointments!

This movie was quite incredible when you know the background. It was written, and produced, and directed and 'filmed', and funded by one individual.

The actors were granted the freedom to add profanity that was not in the original script unfortunately.

CInematography and editing was very good.

This is based on a true story that centers on the Mancini crime family out of Youngstown, Ohio. It is narrated by Lou Sareno (Josh Costell ) impersonating Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He didn't come across as a killer. Lou is an orphan because of Vito Mancini (Mark Owen) but does not know it as he becomes one of his Wise Guys. All hell breaks loose when Vito turns over the reins of power.

The opening had "Sin City" style credits but ends there. Lou does way too many asides putting Woody Allen to shame. We really don't see much of the crime they do, just relationships within the organization.
