If you are into Harry Potter type movies you might like this. The CGI was decent and the acting ok. Story and plot was good. It wasn't a bad movie.

Abby (Allison Shrum) dies because she combined magic potions. Jess (Ivy Rhodes) a member of the three person coven is summoned to Abby's old family Ouija board. Along with fellow witch Rory (Lacy Hartselle) and Abby's grieving boyfriend Sam (Taylor Novak) they use the old board at Abby's grave at night with not so wonderful results.

First off Ouija boards were invented in the 19th century. They are not 800 years old. In traveling to the cemetery it started out as daylight then was suddenly night. Was this an intentional homage to Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space" or did they just goofed? As Ed would say, "Who will notice?" This was low budget film. The witches seem rather casual about their actual powers and abilities. What I liked about Ivy Rhodes is her profile looks like Traci Lords, or so I've been told. I thought Craft 2 was better.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity. (What kind of coven is that?)
