We watched this as a family. In the original German soundtrack, as German is our second language at home. We loved it!!

Our child (nearly 9) loved it so much too.

The characters were sweet, the cat adorable, the storyline had a good message, and there were a lot of funny parts too. I even shed a tear near the end.

So much better than some of the other mainstream (big name) rubbish seen out there lately in the line of kids films which contain a lot of violence and nonsense.

I particularly enjoyed the chickens/hens.

Wonderful Christmas film!

If you're a child or a child at heart, you should see this film. Yes, it has all German dialogue but does have English subtitles. I'm not much on long reviews , so check this movie out. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Watched this with my seven year old daughter. Animation looks cheap, jokes are not funny. And, worst of all, the cat is doing everything to ruin the holidays, constantly whining, always making a mess. Seems like Findus is deliberately mocking Pettersson and the old guy is too kind or too dumb to do something about it and put that spoilt cat in its place.
