Sensational and beautifully moving docco!

This film was just a joy from start to finish, quite moving at times, fascinating throughout. It's a great tribute, and celebration of the sheer passion and joy people bring to an almost forgotten art. Beautifully done!

Press on

I consume most of my information about the world digitally as does most of the world. However there is something magical about having to stop and think as you read a book, a note, or see a poster on a wall. In this movie Pressing On, it takes you on a journey to explore the lost world of pressing. Where movable type is set to produce a printed page. Hard to believe at one time it was the only way to get information out. It really revolution the distribution of information and gave the power to individuals as they were able to hold print in their hands. This movie taught me a lot and be appreciative that there is a sub culture of individuals who feel a need to keep this skill alive. It really is an art form, a draw back to a much simple time. It follows the story of these collectors and craftsmen who have the patience to print and pass on the tradition. This movie is a beautifully made and tells an interesting story about the movable type press. The good old days were not necessarily that good and technology has helped us in many imaginable ways. However it is nice to pause and enjoy watching the dawn of the Information Age revolution. Dr Wilson Triviño
