I had this movie on my list-to-buy for a long time, just never got convinced to take the risk. There are no critical reviews for this movie and only a few hundred reviews on IMDB. And those reviews are wildly varied from low to high.
But, I finally took a chance on this movie today and watched it. I watched the whole movie from beginning to end, and I can honestly say it's a little sad that a movie this good seems to have been ignored by so many people, probably for the same reasons as I did.
After watching this whole movie, which I'm convinced most of the people who left low ratings did not bother to do, I can say this movie has one big thing going for it: pure science fiction. Not all the science is accurate, but it's much better than most movies that are considered sci-fi. Blended with the sci-fi was some decent drama. Together, they give this movie a very strong underlying story. This story is the kind of sci-fi story I can imagine paying to read.
The budget for this movie seems kind of low, but I expected that. And it doesn't really matter for this story. The acting was surprisingly very good considering I didn't recognize anyone in it, and I kind of expect poor acting in a low budget movie, but I saw no real sign of that. There were a couple of parts that had "OK" acting, but maybe only about 5 minutes out of the whole movie.
There were a few times during the movie when it seemed like it was getting predictable, like I knew where it was going and I'd been there before. But, that's the key with movies like this -- you have to take the whole thing in before making a judgement. In the end, it was not predictable, I didn't know where it was going until I got to the end, and I was very satisfied with that ending.
So, take a chance on this movie if you are a pure sci-fi fan and/or reader. Not only was it worth the money I paid to buy it, but I'll be watching it at least one more time. I honestly didn't believe I'd be saying that when I took the chance, so I'm very happy I took it.

Plot summary
On a cold February night, a young man is found unconscious at the wheel of a crashed vehicle in Montana not far from the Canadian border and a lump of weapons-grade Uranium is recovered from the trunk. He is immediately thrown into a high-security prison and tortured relentlessly for months. But apart from a few vicious-sounding curses in an unknown language, he utters nothing. Then one day out of the blue, he gives his interrogators a list of numbers and letters, which turn out to be astronomical coordinates of upcoming Supernova explosions. The very next day the first of those celestial events occurs exactly as predicted, sending shock-waves through the security establishment. It's obvious; the man in custody is no ordinary terrorist. He is a time-traveller from the future. Fifteen years later, RAMIRO still sits in the same secret prison two kilometres under the ground, but much has changed in the world above. Based on the information he has provided over the years, the US has waged a relentless war on terror in an attempt to neutralize the remaining ninety-eight "temporal jihadists" Ramiro claims arrived with him. Several countries in the Middle-East have been invaded, Pakistan has been wiped off the map and India is next on the list. But the terrorists, led by their enigmatic leader Abraham, remain at large. Such are the state of affairs the day CIA agent CARMEN REESE arrives at the prison. Her immediate task is to investigate the mysterious death of her predecessor - a talented interrogator, who had successfully secured Ramiro's cooperation for years. Was it suicide as the evidence suggests? Or was it murder? Carmen knows that the answers to these questions are linked to bigger, more important questions: Is Ramiro who he claims to be? And what is his real agenda? As the world slips further into chaos and destruction and the threat of nuclear holocaust looms large, Carmen engages in an intense psychological battle with Ramiro, who seems to have a window into her inner world and is ready to exploit her emotional vulnerabilities to achieve his goal.

Pure Sci-Fi, Strong Story
Gripping sci-fi thriller
War and civil strife rage all over the world. Determined CIA interrogator Carem (a sturdy performance by Michelle Nolden) must crack captured terrorist Prisoner X (well played with twinkling menace by Romano Orzari),who claims to be a time traveler from the future who might be responsible for all the chaos.
Writer/director Gaurav Seth relates the complex and compelling story at a constant pace, generates a considerable amount of tension, maintains a dark despairing tone throughout, and makes good use of the gloomy underground base main location. The rock-solid acting from the able cast helps a lot: Julian Richings as no-nonsense facility head Jefferson, Nigel Bennett as concerned president Charles Turner, and Damon Runyan as the desperate Fischer. A real nail-biter.
Time is not what it seems.
In 2002 Ramiro (Romano Orzari) is captured in Montana with 10 pounds of bomb grade uranium. He is placed in a black ops site in the US and is interrogated by Fischer (Damon Runyan). Years later he asks Carmen (Michelle Nolden) a former lover to help him. We already know he is a time traveling Jihadist. But what is the plan? Most of the film takes place in an underground bunker with cell phone service. There are occasional flashbacks and news reports to break up the low budget monotony . The film is basically head games. Nobody whistling "Time is on my side." Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
