For a low budget psychological thriller it wasn't bad at all. It's not that I will remember it in the future, but to watch once it's good enough. Especially for the acting of the little girl Eleonore/Ellie played by Savannah Liles. I think she did a good job playing the creepy teenager, not only with her vocabulary but also with her facial expressions. It's a low budget, with only four different places where they shoot the entire movie, and with only a handful of actors, but you didn't need more to bring this story. A story of mind games and a bit of supernatural. Not exceptional but good enough to entertain you during 80 minutes.

Not bad for a low budget
Understanding and patience
Or was it patients? Well nowadays I reckon writing any of the two wouldn't make a difference in the perception. But enough stabs or puns at the movie or some of the reviews ... just kidding. I only read one other review that was interesting because it concentrated on other reviews. Kind of what I'm doing right now (to put it into a meta level),almost the same amout of text, but with more content - and more words than the reviews he was putting down. To make it clear, everyone has an opinion, no matter how long or short their review is and there does not have to be an agenda to it.
Back to this, where the main character seems lost. And there are only two things that are possible when it comes to our patient. So no brownie points if you guess right. Bonus points maybe if you are patient enough though - no not like the character in the movie. She seems to have a short fuse. Now all talk aside (especially because the movie has a lot of it),this is quite decent. It is not extra special, but it is not bad either. So while I was having trouble keeping it together at some points in the movie (you know when you want to yell at characters for doing something you would regard stupid),it was overall quite entertaining. Ending included which as stated can only be one of two things ... maybe some will be dissapointed (actually that's a given),but you can never satisfy everybody
LITTLE LOW-BUDGET EXAMINATION OF AN EXTRAORDINARY CHILD WITH EXPLODING INTELLECT AND PARANORMAL GIFTS
Confined, Close-Up "Confrontation" with an Unorthodox Psychologist and a Child whose Intellect is "Off the Charts".
The Adolescent Girl also Possesses Paranormal Abilities that are Deemed Severe National Security Threat and is about to be Executed and Examined.
It's an Intriguing Scenario all Done with a Minimalist Production that sometimes Feels Like a Stage-Play.
Jolene Anderson as the Little Girl with the Gigantic Intellect is Simply Sublime, Subtle, and Manages to Evoke Empathy while Displaying Ego-Maniacal Extremes that the Doctor (Richard Neil) Feels is an Escape from Deep Psychological Trauma.
Neil also Impresses as Seemingly the Only One Really Devoted to Reaching the Girl.
It May be Taking a Short-Cut on the Multi-Dimensional Subjects that are Explored.
But as a Glance of the Interesting and Deep-Diving Aside, it Works Beautifully and Delivers a Melodrama that is Exciting, Touching and is Ultimately...
Worth a Watch.
