While it is definitely a solid B movie that doesn't mean its a bad movie... I found it amusing and light hearted in a slightly twisted way. I would watch it again.

Interesting, worth a watch...
Lovely unconventional Christmas movie. Forget vampire movies and watch this one as soon as possible.
"Red Snow" is the Christmas-vampire and comedy-horror film you will have to add to your list of movies to watch. The movie is based on the vampire-obsessed wannabe novelist Olivia Romo (Denicce Cisneros) who chooses to spend Christmas alone in her deceased mother's Lake Tahoe cabin. The film uses the Lake Tahoe setting which is also a nice Christmas setting. You will see a comedy that is redefining the vampire world, by criticizing the rules set out before. This movie tries to bring the vampire legacy into reality and to my opinion it worked out. I am not a fan of vampire movies but this story is so different. The acting of the two leads Dennice Cisneros (Olivia) and Nico Bellamy (Luke) plays out perfectly. Just awesome! The interaction between these two and the dialogues is just marvellous. The comedy comes from seeing how Olivia must react to each situation. "Red Snow" accomplish in making a vampire movie that is not really all about vampires and blood-shed. This movie is completely underrated and is definitely a must see, even when you are not into this genre of movie.
A highly enjoyable vampire effort
Attempting to find the needed solitude, a woman staying at her family's remote mountain lodge to work on her latest vampire novel inadvertently meets a real vampire and nurses him back to health, unaware the rest of his friends are looking for him and making him decide whether to stay with her or them.
This one wasn't too bad and had a lot to like about it. Among the more likable factors here is the engaging and quirky storyline that plays like a rather unique and off-beat take on the genre. With the early setup here being fun enough to provide the excuse for why she would be in the area to begin with and them coming upon the vampire she wanted to meet her whole life, the craziness that ensues involving how they get together regarding the need to nurse him back to strength and fall for each other comes off rather well. The ease with which she's able to accept the situation and begin preparing ways to reverse what happened to him. The ease with which she's able to accept the situation and begin preparing ways to reverse what happened to him which is reciprocated by his helping fill her in on vampire lore and her writing later on as if they've become a united force is highly entertaining here as the relationship blossoms from comfortable awkwardness to reciprocated feels of mutual admiration. There's also quite a bit to like here involving the reunion and how the other members of the squad become involved in the story. The group getting together and overtaking the house is quite horrific in a cheesy way compared to what has come before which results in the group hunting down the partygoers in the middle of the woods, providing some fun vampire stalking. The finale, involving the group being taken out and hunted down in the house as well as the surrounding woods allows for a fun series of stalking confrontations where the makeshift weapons and pure luck provide a means of fighting back which has some fun in the graphic deaths as well as the rather unlikely outcomes to their battles. These aspects are what manage to hold this one up enough to be quite entertaining. The film does have some issues. The main drawback is the initial setup that provides a quirky atmosphere but also seems highly probable to add a romantic comedy bent to the storyline for very little payoff. Built around the two of them coming to terms with the revelation that the creatures exist and nursing him back to health while being prompted or extra tips on her book come at the expense of most of the horror where their quirky banter and interactions take over the running time. Although it has one attack scene to spice things up, there's nothing else on display here to bring this one into a darker and more suspenseful tone due to these scenes. There's also some general hokiness to be had with the epilogue which is incredibly easy to see coming and ends on such a sappy note that it's quite hard to take seriously. However, these are the only real issues with this one.
