I found this movie online when looking for Spanish-language movies with English subtitles to improve my language comprehension. I wanted to like this movie, but it was difficult to stay with it. The pacing was slow, there were elements that oddly seemed to be stuck into the movie for laughs, and there were uses of older American pop songs--how many Mexicans understand the lyrics?--that appeared to be attempts to generate sentimentality. It's kind of a shame, because the concept was sufficiently novel as to create a passable rom-com if executed well.

When her husband Ernesto throws himself into work and refuses to start a family, Maria begins to think he is having an affair and turns to hypnosis to help her understand her relationship. But when the therapist ends the session, she doesn't come back as herself. Instead, Maria is convinced she is a Basque princess from the 15th century, who is engaged to a prince from that time.

Great RomCom! Blanca Soto is amazing!
I loved this movie! Blanca Soto and Jaime Camil are amazing! Wonderful romantic comedy. The plot is about couple trying to find each other. Blanca is wonderful in her role as Maria. We get to see wide range of emotions from her. Very nice movie!
