The wait is worth it! Saaho is one of the greatest Indian action movies of 2019.

Saaho is truly one of the best action films of the year. With its epic scale action sequences, intelligent plot twists and visually striking grandeur, it turns out to be a party for action lovers.

The action just keeps coming nonstop and is the USP of this film. Prabhas killed it with style! Shraddha Kapoor was just awesome. Special mention to Arun Vijay, Murli Sharma, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Panday, Vennela Kishore and Mandira Bedi who leave a stunning impact with their performances.

And of course, great job Sujeeth. This film is indeed India's answer to Hollywood action cinema. Would love to watch it again!

A sparkling 5/5 from my side! Don't think twice before booking your tickets!

SAAHO IS HIGH ON ACTION, STUNTS AND LAVISHNESS BUT LESS IN STORYTELLING

SAAHO REVIEW :-

Saaho had been awaited since the budget talk and promises of 'Biggest Action event ever in India' were out. As promised, it is really that Biggest Action Entertainer in India but unfortunately lacks the desi-ness and strong emotional connect like Bahubali. Saaho does not match high expectations of Prabhas coming after humongous success of Bahubali but on it's own level it keeps the action mania high.

Saaho is story of many characters, where the main hero Saaho played by Prabhas deals with swag like never before. Hide & seeks and Cops & Goons story evoloves around Saaho and female office Amrita played by Shraddha Kapoor. Lots of Twists and turn arounds keeps the film interesting but not engaging while action mania keeps entertaining you from the other side. There are so many characters surrounding the narrative that at one time it looks overdose of thrill and twists. Acting wise there was not much to do in a film which is driven by Mass mania but still Swag level of Prabhas remains intact. He can do anything, he can beat anyone, he has everything planned and that's what his fans expect from him in Film so as a whole it goes correct. Shraddha Kapoor looks beautiful whereas Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjarekar, Mandira Bedi, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma and Prakash Belawadi adds enough acting skills from thier experience.

Cinematography of Saaho is Top Class and you can feel it from close, zoomed angles. Action, stunts and explosion are brilliantly showcased. If we exclude these 2 things then there is hardly anything which works in Saaho. Music in Hindi was never meant to be a Hit and it looks irritating on screen because of less Localism. Screenplay is the biggest minus of Saaho, and 174 minutes totally doesn't worth the wait. The same script could have been told in shorter time to make it more gripping.

Director Sujeeth tries out his best to make Saaho a high octane film but lacks the basic theme and Connect. Overdose of everything may work sometimes but not everytime. Technical aspects of the film should have been more accurate to get it right on screen and then big screen experience would have been on other level. Overall, Saaho ends on a Below Average note but if you like Action films so much then Saaho cannot be missed. But, if you're expecting something else than Typical South Masala Film then Below Average or Decent is the correct word.

RATING- 4/10*

Mindless Big Budget Mess / 1 Star

I don't know what is worse in my viewing take-away from Saaho (given name; Succeed): an advertisement for Astral pipes, a scene where Prabhas' character reads David Baldacci, or the uncomfortable air of Prabhas as a slick action hero. Whatever it may be, watching this 3-hour-long torture nearly gave me a headache, but that was not because of the convoluted plot or the mind-numbing gaudy CGI or the big budget stunt sequences or the playing of a lounge track in the middle of a bullet war, but this try at sluggard show-off by Prabhas that is present throughout. It is extremely annoying to watch even from the so-called hero. It turned me off big time and I am now also convinced that he cannot act and that Bãhubali: The Beginning (2015) was a fluke (or Rajamouli is a better director). It is clear that Saaho has been written by an unimaginative person who watched a lot of recent popular movies and TV shows and ended up just vomiting. The difference: it cost his producers 350 crore rupees. TN.
