Serendip is a docufilm that emphasizes the authenticity of the characters and the story told from beginning to end. Behind each image is hidden the generosity of the director, the authors and the actors, a generosity that gets under the skin and makes us go back to when we were children and saw the world with eyes of wonder. Gazes of understanding, genuine smiles, uncontaminated places and beautiful background music frame a real story that give emotions to an audience that's emotionally moved, amused, and that go back home after seeing the documentary with a baggage full of marvel and with a great desire to be part of that simple and wonderful world. A docufilm to watch and watch again!

Plot summary
After months of pooling resources, Andrea finally joins Antonio in Sri Lanka, where he is already working to organize the delivery of school supplies for the children of Ambewela. After the successful initial phase, Take Me Back guys come into contact with voices, faces and ideas until they become witnesses of stories and live spectators of a faraway place, a place that screams diversity, change and possibility. What the two friends couldn't predict was how much the journey itself would become their path, allowing them to bring back home more than the feeling of having done something great.

A film that makes you grow
The story of a boy who becomes a man thanks to solidarity travels and the sharing of his soul with other civilizations and other cultures: the story of men who leave a positive mark on humanity.
A touching journey into the heart and hearts of Sri Lanka
Two Italian friends meet and take an interesting trip into the interior of Sri Lanka. Along the way they meet people that know what they are doing and are thankful to have them there.
Antonio Di Leonardo and Andrea Mariani are co-founders of Take Me Back charity.
Together they created a global network of solidarity couriers with the aim of combining their journey with charity (bringing school supplies to school children in remote areas).
It's a very interesting look into the lives of the people they meet, the hospitality, the gratefulness and the shared friendship is truly inspiring.
I always wanted to know what Sri Lanka was like as I have a neighbor from there.
They have a website that describes more intimately what they are doing.
