Undercover cop Eva (a solid performance by Noleen Comiskey) checks out local tattoo parlors in order to find and catch a serial killer who tattoos and skins his victims. Eva meets and falls for tattooist Nathan (a charming portrayal by Lewis Kirk),who unbeknownst to Eva is the psycho she's looking for.
While director Terry Lee Coker delivers a few fairly creepy moments and offers some neat bits of gore (turns out Nathan is a cannibal who eats his victims),he alas lets the familiar story unfold at a painfully plodding pace and fails to generate much in the way of any essential tension. Moreover, the annoying score proves to be more obtrusive than effective. Fortunately, the good acting from the two leads keeps this tepid movie watchable. An okay diversion.

Decent thriller
She's a beautiful monster
Nathan (Lewis Kirk ) is our killer. He eats young women, tans their hides and feeds the remain to the reptile cage in the basement. Eva (Noeleen Comiskey ) is former junkie investigating the crimes and is his lover. The story is told as a flashback from prison.
The film didn't excite me. Not graphic in any killing or slicing.
Guide; F-word. No sex or nudity
A cut above your usual independent horror
A slow burn that builds to a crescendo. Some twists and turns throughout. Pretty well done throughout with decent production values and performances. Some gore and implied violence.
